=2ab+7a+1+−1(8ab)+(−1)(9)

=2ab+7a+1+−8ab+−9

Combine Like Terms:

=2ab+7a+1+−8ab+−9

=(2ab+−8ab)+(7a)+(1+−9)

=−6ab+7a+−8
