12 students to 1 adult is the same as 36:3 and 60:5

12*3 is 36

1*3 is 3

there is your relationship between the 12 to 1 and 36 to 3

12*5 is 60

1*5 is 5 that is the relation between the 12 to 1 and 60 to 5
