A car can travel 60 miles on 3 gallons of gasoline. How far can it travel on 11 gallons of gasoline?

Answer: with 11 miles, it can travel 220 miles

You would do:

60/3 =20

1 gallon can go 20 miles

20*11=220

So the car can travel 220 mile on 11 gallons of gasoline
