The equation of a line is −2x+5y=−20.

What is the x-intercept of the line?

Please help! this is a huge chunk of my grade and i cant seem to get a correct answer :(

Answer: (10,0)

FIRST we must find the equation of the line

5y=2x-20

y=2/5x-4

THEN I set y=0 to find the x intercept

0=2/5x-4

4=2/5x

20=2x

10=x
