|-4(-2) - 8| + |-1 - (-2)^2| + 2(-2)^3
-4(-2)= 8, (-2)^2=4, (-2)^3=-8
|8-8| + |-1 - 4| + 2(-8)
8-8=0, -1-4=-5, 2(-8)= -16
|0| +|-5| - 16
|0|=0, |-5|=5
0+5-16=-9
