An Informative speech is more on what you want your audience to KNOW and a persuasive speech is more of what you want your audience to DO.

For example: The Human Body

Informative: Cells in our body
Persuasive: Don't do drugs

Also, the biggest difference between the 2 is the speakers end goal and what the speaker wants the audience to leave with!
