MD = (WZ + XY)/2

4x-6 = (2x - 5 + 4x +7)/2

8x - 12 = 6x +2

2x = 14

x = 7

MD = 4x-6 = 4(7) - 6 = 28 - 6 =22

answer x =7 MD = 22
