Feet are smaller than yards, so the numerical value would be higher.

well lets just say we have a tree thats 5 meters tall ....
the conversion from feet to meter is 3.82 feet per meter
the conversion from yard to meter is 1.09 yards per meter
so in that case the tree would be 19.1 feet tall and 5.45 yards tall
So the greater number would be in feet
