Applying the Power Rule: [tex]x^m[/tex]÷[tex]x^n[/tex] = [tex]x^{m-n}[/tex]
[tex]3^{-2}[/tex]÷[tex]3^{-4}[/tex] = [tex]3^{-2--4}=3^{-2+4}=3^2=9[/tex]
