The shape is a trapezoid and its area formula is:
A = [tex] \frac{a+b}{2} [/tex]h
a is a base length, b is another base length and h is the height.
A = [tex] \frac{3.1+11.9}{2} [/tex](10.8)
A = 81
So the area of the shape is 81yd²
